ACE FREHLEY: First Video Blog Available

April 6, 2009

Original KISS guitarist Ace Frehley has posted his first-ever video blog. The four-minute clip, which can be viewed below, features a "sneak peek" at two more tracks from Frehley's upcoming "Anomaly" CD, as well as photos from Ace's April 2, 2009 performance at the grand opening of the 7,000-square-foot Hard Rock Café in the new Yankee Stadium. Frehley was backed by guitarist Scott Ian (ANTHRAX),bassist Frank Bello (ANTHRAX) and drummer Anton Fig ("Late Show with David Letterman") for a performance of the classic song "New York Groove".

Ace Frehley's new solo album, "Anomaly", is tentatively due later in the year. The CD was produced and recorded in Westchester County, New York between 2007 and 2009 and was mixed by Marti Frederiksen, who has previously worked with AEROSMITH and DEF LEPPARD, among many others.

Frehley recently spent time on the road fronting a band that featured second guitarist Derrek Hawkins, drummer Scot Coogan (ex-BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION) and bassist Anthony Esposito (ex-LYNCH MOB).
